PUTRAJAYA - Former drivers to actor Zahida Rafik Azemi of Noor Azman, on Friday to attend the office of the Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) here, to give evidence on the alleged Minister of Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie give large amounts of money to artists it.
Attorney Noor Azman, Latheefa Koya, who is also Chairman of the Legal Bureau of the party, said his client testified for about an hour on the case is being investigated under the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2001.
"Noor Azman had cooperated by providing all the necessary details," he told reporters afterwards.
Latheefa said they were also satisfied with the treatment SPRM on Friday.
Last year, Zahida reported ever lodged a police report against Noor Azman, 39, who allegedly ran RM200, 000 companies money, while Noor Azman has also lodged a police report claiming Mohd Shafie has a relationship with Zahida and deliver large amounts of money to the artist
